Chatter Box

Our sweet little Brooklyn is growing up so fast! She brightens my day and her little personality is coming out. We have worked really hard over the last few weeks to get her on a good schedule, and it has helped her a ton! She is such a happy baby and just wants to smile and talk all the time now. I should have known she would be like her momma and need a set schedule. :)

 Brooklyn is all about smiling and talking and babbling. She likes to blow spit bubbles and she smiles her big open mouth smile anytime she sees Mommy, Daddy, or Carson. Sometimes it looks like she is trying to eat us! She will sit there and talk and coo as long as you will give her your undivided attention. 

Her hair just keeps growing! It's almost long enough to pull back into a little pony tail. I might have to try that soon!

 Brooklyn has gotten really good at eating. It used to take her about 45 minutes to eat, but now it takes less than 10 minutes. She eats every 4 hours during the day, but at night she still wants to eat every 2 hours!!! Goodness, Girlie! This momma is getting tired! I know I should just let her fuss and go back to sleep, but a lot of nights I will go get her out of her crib and bring her to bed with me. I just love cuddling with her and I know that she won't be little for long. I'm going to just enjoy this stage while she is still in it. Before long she will be running around with her brother and they will think it isn't cool to cuddle with mom anymore.  

 Brooklyn always makes the funniest faces when she talks to us. They crack me up. Its like she is really telling us a story and her facial expressions let us know if it is a happy story, a sad story, or a scary story! Funny little girl! She also likes to eat her hand and her lobster toy. She will sit in her bouncer and eat her hands or her lobster and pull the lion with her little feet.

We are totally head-over-heels in love with our sweetheart. Slow down time..... just let her be little.
