The last weekend in August, we headed to Utah for some fun-filled days with my family!! We got to celebrate the sealing of Zach and Haleigh on their first anniversary. It was such an awesome trip.
On Thursday, Haleigh went through the Draper, Utah temple. It was such a pretty day and the temple was gorgeous, as always. Such a special day for her!
We stayed at my Aunt Raette's house in Park City, Utah with my family. We got to see the Zebra, Buffalo, Donkey, goats, and chickens that she has on her property. Carson loved the animals. :)
My Aunt has a trampoline, and Carson liked to get on and jump, but he doesn't like to do it by himself. While all of the girls were getting food ready for the luncheon, Carson and Papa got on the trampoline and played. They had so much fun and Carson really loves his Papa. It reminded me of when my grandpa would jump on the trampoline with us when we were growing up.
On Friday, the 24th, Zach and Haleigh were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful sealing and I was so grateful that I got to attend with my eternal companion. It was very uplifting to hear the promises and blessings again and to hear the wonderful advise from the sealer. He told them to always remember to start and end each day with a kneeling prayer, to read from the scriptures together every day, to go on dates (especially the temple), and to love each other in spite of and including all of the flaws. We are so happy for them! It made me appreciate and love Jason even more. :)
My Grandma got to come up to Utah for the sealing and I was so glad I got to spend time with her. I just love her to death! I miss her so much and I hate that we live so far away. She is a very special lady and I have so many precious memories of growing up next door to her. Watching her during the sealing was a reminder of what a comfort the knowledge we have of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is. She lost her eternal companion 4 years ago, yet she has peace knowing she will be with him again. I love her and the strength she is to me.

On Saturday, my whole family headed to Seven Peaks Waterpark in Salt Lake for a little fun. We had a BLAST!!! We decided that it was something we are going to do every year, multiple times, if possible. We went down waterslides, played in the pools, hung out in the lazy river, and stayed until they kicked us out at closing.
My parents are pretty much the coolest, ever. We talked them into going down one of the big waterslides on the double tube as soon as we got there. We were down at the bottom watching when we started to hear screaming. We looked up to see my dad with his hands in the air coming around the corner. They had fallen off the tube going around the very first corner. They tumbled all the way down!! It was so funny!! I thought they would be done after that, but they were game for pretty much anything! My dad went down the huge scary water slides with me, they took Carson down some slides, and went down on double and triple tubes with us. They made the whole day a blast.
