The past few weeks at our house....

While my mom was here, we had Kenzlee and Brock come and spend the night with us one night. While they were here, we lit fireworks in the backyard. They thought it was pretty neat, but Carson only wanted to watch them from inside the house. I sat with him and watched them out the backdoor window. He would jump up and down and scream when they went off, and then yell at Jason to do more. My mom said that I was the same way when I was little. I liked fireworks as long as I was inside.

 Brock loves coming to Aunt Natalie's house. :)

This little girl finally started taking a binkie, as long as it is the right type and she will only take it when she is really tired. Other than that, she likes to hold it and play with it.

  Brooklyn is really liking her "big girl" food. She likes rice cereal and her favorite so far is sweet potatoes. She is pretty messy though!

 The other day, Carson kept asking me for candy for breakfast. I told him no repeatedly and then moved the candy basket onto the counter. While I was getting ready for the day, he drug the step stool from our closet, through our bedroom, through the kitchen, and helped himself! I came out to find candy wrappers everywhere. I couldn't help but laugh at his creativity!

 This little girl got her ears pierced while my mom was here! She did such a great job!!! She only cried for a second, and then that was it!! I actually started crying and cried longer than she did! I'll try and get a better picture of her ears soon. She looks so cute with them in. 

 Brooklyn was sick for the first time. She had a really nasty ear infection that took 2 rounds of antibiotics to go away. Poor baby. I always hate it when my kids are sick. Its the worst thing in the world as a parent. 

 Brooklyn's hair is getting longer and longer every day. It is so cute! The only problem is that it gets matted in the back from her laying on it so much. She pretty much has baby dreadlocks. I started putting some oil in her hair and using a detangling spray to get the knots out, which has helped quite a bit! Her hair is about 3 1/2 inches long now.  

Carson went to Maddie's house to play the other day and Daddy forgot to take his coat. They went out back to play and Carson got to wear some of Maddie's clothes! Wasn't he so cute?!
